July 8th Releases
this week we are releasing our second and third Kenyas of the 26' season yayy
- Gicherori AA
- Gatomboya AA
We are really excited for these because they are some of our favorites amongst the past few seasons. These two come from two different regions presenting two different and unique profiles in the cup.
Gatomboya comes from the Barichu Farmer Cooperative Society in the Nyeri region of Kenya. It is quite citrus forward with bright acidity and sweetness, think mostly pink grapefruit with a hint of cherry tomato and rose florals.
Gicherori comes from the Kibugu Farmers Cooperative Society in the Embu region of Kenya. With more sweet nuances like blackberry and plum with a touch of sweet herbailty, we thought this coffee was a pleasant representation of this type of cup profile.
note: all of these coffees are roasting on a Loring s7, we are taking a slightly more acid-forward approach to these roasts on the s7, erm more to be shared on this soon tm
