Month #5 - May 17, 2026 roast date: Both coffees are the Hacienda El Obraje classic washed process. Roast A is an ultralight profile that is a juicier roast than the usual profile, and roast B is the norml reference profile.

This first subscription we're offering is one that's content forward. As part of this subscription, you can expect a video or three together with 120g of coffee every month.

The first video will be about the producer and the farm the coffee is from. We're offering coffees direct sourced from passionate producers who we believe in, and to turn the spotlight on them and their work.

Our plan is to keep building with them over time, bringing you a survey of varietals and processing styles from the same farms each year.

Another big goal with this subscription is to do represent the coffees we bring in as well as we can, to the best of our abilities. We want to roast each and every coffee in a way that truly represents the work that went into it, out of respect for the producers who make it possible.

As roasters, we love the challenge of adapting our approach based on how each coffee tastes, and we love playing with and creating something on different machines. It pushes us to explore, experiment, and learn more about the craft of roasting with every new coffee we bring in, and it's something we want to share with as many people as we can.

Since the roast style will shift a little from month to month, we will also be releasing a second short video alongside each coffee, breaking down what we were going for with the roast and what that means for how we’d recommend brewing it.

Subscriptions after the initial order will be billed by the 14th of every month, roasted by the following Wednesday, and shipped out on the business day following the roast date. Orders placed after the 14th of the month will receive the next month's subscription coffee.

Past coffees:

Month #1 - January 14, 2026 roast date: 2x 60g bags of Hacienda La Florida White Honey Mejorado, one roasted on the Stronghold and one on the Kaffelogic.

Month #2 - February 18, 2026 roast date: 2x 60g bags of Hacienda La Florida Anaerobic Washed Sidra, roasted on the Roest L200 Ultra. One roast will be a 200g batch in counterflow mode, and the other a 100g batch in regular mode.

Month #3 - March 18, 2026 roast date: TNT Coffee Lab. One 60g bag is a washed process called Paradise with cherries from Santamaria, and the other 60g bag is a koji natural process coffee called Samurai with cherries from Auromar.

Month #4 - April 15, 2026 roast date: TNT Coffee Lab. One 60g bag is a washed process gesha called Flower Touch, and the other 60g is a honey process gesha called Bumblebee, both using cherries from Santamaria.
